These terms cover the Avenyou website and Avenyou weekly picks, its text program. Avenyou is run by Mahir Yavuz, an individual (a sole proprietor) in New York.

Avenyou weekly picks

Avenyou is a curated library of things to do in New York. Members get a text each Thursday with a link to 10 to 15 personal picks, plus a short follow-up text on Mondays.

• Joining: on the sign-up page, you enter your mobile number, tick the box agreeing to texts, and confirm the number with a code we text you.
• Message frequency: about 2 messages per week: the Thursday picks and the Monday follow-up, plus one-time sign-up codes and a welcome text when you join.
• Message and data rates may apply.
• Text STOP to cancel at any time. You'll get one confirmation text and no more messages. Text START to rejoin.
• Text HELP for help.

• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• Supported carriers: major US carriers.

Who can join

You must be 18 or older, with a US mobile number that's yours or that you're allowed to use.

Listings

Every listing links to its source. We don't sell tickets or take bookings: plans, prices, and tickets are between you and the venue or organizer.

Accuracy

We check every listing against its source, but details change and we can get things wrong. Check the source before you go. If something's off, tap "Something wrong?" on the listing and we'll look. Avenyou is offered as is: as far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for losses from relying on a listing.

What we keep about you, and how to have it deleted, is in the Privacy policy.

Changes

If these terms change, the new version goes here with a new date. If a change affects the text program, we'll tell members before it takes effect.
